A possible version:
Show respect for others
Respect is to honor and be considerate of the differences between each other. Showing respect for others is important as well as necessary in our life.
Regardless of one’s appearance, social status, he has the right to be respected as a member of the society. People are likely to get along much better when they are respected. What’s more, we should always treat others with respect because everyone desires to be treated that way.
There are lots of ways to show respect for others, depending on the person and situation. The best way to show respect for others is by being kind to them. I show respect for other people by putting myself into their shoes, thus winning myself their respect.

Text 10
Good evening! Tonight the main news is about the bad weather we are having. Storms are reported in all parts of the country. In the north many roads are closed because of high winds. Two main roads near Glasgow are blocked by trees. In the south too, heavy rains and storms are reported. Near Dover fifty houses have been flooded and last night a lorry was blown over by the wind. In the east, quite a few areas have been flooded. Many small boats have gone missing and this morning one boat was found two miles in land. Things are better in the west. But a bridge east of Liverpool was washed away and four people were nearly killed in the river. No storms are expected tomorrow.
