　I have great news to report. Recently, I was given a higher position in my company with higher pay. I’ve been working for my company for a number of years, and things have gone quite well. First, I helped my department increase sales by 200% last year. Before that, we only earned 150, 000 dollars a year. We have advertised and promoted our products at trade shows, on TV and in the newspaper, and customers have really enjoyed our products. Our company has become better known not only in our area but also in other cities. Now, more and more customers are learning about us by word of mouth; when you have satisfied customers, the news gets around. Besides increased sales, I’ve established a good working relationship with my colleagues. We recognize each other’s abilities and respect each other’s opinions. All my co-workers believe I have the ability to lead the department in the right direction. Therefore, I accepted the promotion and the pay raise, and I’ll do my best for my company and for my customers in the future.
