书面表达:
I still remember the night when it was a cold , late afternoon and it was showering. Without an umbrella to shelter me from the heavy rain, I had to stand still and wait for my father. After seemingly long hours’ waiting, my father finally arrived. I was about to rush home when I found that my English teacher, Miss Wang was also waiting for the rain to stop. Without any hesitation, I went to her and gave my umbrella to her. Surprised but happy, she accepted it. Seeing Miss Wang walking in the rain with my umbrella, I smiled and a sense of happiness sprung up in my heart.
As a famous saying goes, happiness is only real when shared. As long as we are willing to share, we’ll find happiness everywhere.

Listening scripts:
Text1
M: How many students attended the meeting yesterday?
W: Twenty-one were expected to come, but nine more students appeared.
Text2
W: I’m really fed up with the computer. It had another system failure today.
M: I’d better get someone to fix it as soon as possible.
Text3
M: I used to love this restaurant. For years, they had the best Italian food in town.
W: I agree. It was also one of my favorites until they redecorated and hired a new chef.
Text4
W: At first I thought this coat was blue, but now it looks green to me.
M: You were right the first time. It’s this yellow light in the store that makes everything look different.
Text5
W: Have you slept well?
M: Oh, yes. After the long journey, I had a sound sleep.
W: But you still look tired. You can stay in bed for some more time if you like.
M: I’d like to breathe some fresh air.
Text6
M: Want to come to my place tonight?
W: Well, I suppose I could. I was thinking of going to the movies tonight, though.
M: My friend Xiao Wang has just come back from America. He’s coming to talk about his experience abroad. Do come and join us.
W: Which Xiao Wang? The young man who likes to boast?
M: He used to be like that, but he might have changed these years.
W: Well, perhaps. But I think I’d rather go to the movies tonight.
Text7
M: Stop, your driving license, please.
W: Here! Listen to me, officer. It wasn’t my fault. It was that dog.
M: What dog? I didn’t notice any dog.
W: It’s true, sir. There was a dog in the street. If there weren’t for the dog, I wouldn’t have almost hit you.
M: How fast were you going?
W: Well, about 40 mph or less. I was driving very slowly.
M: 40 mph? Don’t you know the speed limit here is 30mph? All right. That’ll be one hundred dollars.
W: Wait! What do you mean by saying “one hundred dollars”?
M: You’ll be fined one hundred dollars. Speeding and driving afer drinking. You can’t fool me with that smell from your mouth.
Text9
M: So, how much money have we got to spend?
W: Seven hundred and fifty thousand pounds. What do you suggest?
M: I suggest that we use mainly TV, cinema and print.
W: I see, magazines and newspapers. Can you give me your reasons?
M: Sure. First, our product looks good. So it would be a waste of money to use radio. Second, our product moves well, and it moves fast. So I want people to see it on the roads in our ads.
W: What about advertising boards?
M: No, I prefer magazines and newspapers, and we haven’t got the money to do all three. So people will see the ad on TV and in the cinema. Then they’ll be able to read all about it when they’re sitting down, reading their newspapers and magazines.
W: When do you want the advertising to start?
M: May 1st. That gives us three months to run to August 1st when most people like to buy their new cars.
W: I see.
Text10
Mr Hill was a chicken farmer. He had hundreds of chickens, and sold the eggs and the meat and got quite a lot of money for them, but he lived in a very hot part of the country, and he found that his hens laid hardly any eggs in the summer. So he decided to put air-conditioning into his chicken-house so that the hens would lay well all through the year and he could get more eggs and in that way earn more money.. The owner of the company which sold the air-conditioning unit came to see him, and when he saw Mr Hill’s house, he thought that he might be able to persuade him to buy some air-conditioning units for that too. “Your wife would be much happier and more comfortable then,” he said to Mr Hill. But Mr Hill was not interested. “My wife doesn’t lay eggs,” he said.
