Dear Sam,
I’m writing to tell you something about the 60th anniversary of our school. How lucky I am to witness this special occasion!
Various kinds of activities were held one after another. For instance, some distinguished schoolmates were invited to give lectures to us students, making us know how they struggled for their dreams. The campus was decorated with some terrific couplets and slogans collected from some creative teachers and students. What impressed me most was a grand celebration meeting where some performances of entertainment were put on.
Struck by the situation, I am seized with pleasure. Our school is widely admired for its excellent teaching. Since we have access to receiving good education here, we are supposed to be responsible for ourselves. It hits me that today I’m proud of my school and tomorrow my school will take pride in my success.
