The topic of my speech today is “Thoughts on Becoming a Grown-up”.
It is hard to imagine what life will be like when becoming a grown up. I used to look forward to growing up, for I can do whatever I am keen on and I become independent.
Nevertheless, now I realize being a grown up is not as easy as I thought. Growing up is not without its problem. It means responsibility, as well as all kinds of hardships for a better life and a better world.
In the future, I’ll try to be a well- behaved citizen. Not only will I care for my own family, but also I shall contribute to building a harmonious society.
