The high school life in China is fulfilling. It takes us 3 years to study various subjects, including Chinese, Math, English, Physics, History, PE and so on. From the second year, we should choose to study arts or science, We must finish many study assignments everyday. Finally, we will take the CEE. Meet the colleges’ qualifications, and we’ll attend our dreamy colleges. 

In addition, as you, we have the summer and winter vacation, when we could do whatever we like, such as traveling, writing and so on.

There are many excellent students around me, who have a constructive philosophy of life and colorful dreams, among which are architect, artist and many creative ones. They are versatile students in China.

W: Unbelievable! If I remember correctly, you just started to learn driving a month ago. Now you have got your license and drive so well.

W: That’s right. Every time I go there with my friends, it takes me a whole day.

M: And what’s your city like? What does it look like?

W: Well, it’s very crowded but clean. Of course, it’s pretty too. Around the city are many hills, and there are a lot of trees and a lake right in the center of the city.

M: Good morning, Amanda. You are up early this morning.

W: Oh, Hi, Gorge, the fact is that I didn’t sleep at all last night. My friend Mary came by and had a sleep over.

M: Did you girls have fun all night? That’s crazy!

W: No, she came to me for some advice. And she kept talking about the future relationship between her and her boyfriend. Every time l was about to fall asleep, she would wake me up.

M: Poor you! But why?

W: She told me her boy friend was 15 years younger than her, and you know, people judge. However, she loves him so much that she can’t decide what to do after his proposal.

W: Maybe. Is the tennis club running this year? I enjoyed that.

M: Yes, but it is on Mondays now, at 7 sharp.

W: That’s a shame. I have to work late at the library on Mondays. What’s on Tuesdays? Is it still badminton club?

M: No, that’s on Wednesdays this year. On Tuesdays it’s table tennis.

W: Will you go?

M: To table tennis? No, but I may go to badminton. I have grammar classes all afternoon on Wednesdays. My mind would be exhausted after those lessons, so I will enjoy hitting the badminton so hard.

W: Then maybe it’s not fit for me. Is there anything on Thursdays?

M: Mr. Smith is running his old club again, just like last year.

W: Oh, yeah! Mr. Smith’s Thursday book reading club! I enjoy that. We had some interesting discussions.

M: Yes, I’m hoping to do that this year too. And on Fridays the singing club will be upstairs and dancing club will be downstairs.

W: You know I tried to dance before, and found out that was something I would never do again.

M: Well, I guess I will meet you on Thursday evenings then!

W: Yes! See you then!

Hello, everyone! To ensure everyone can enjoy Golden Sun Park safely, the park has established rules and regulations for all visitors.

First of all, alcohol and smoking are not permitted in the park. Anyone who breaks this rule will be faced with a $10 fine. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes.

Besides, Cycling is not permitted on pedestrian paths except the marked shared paths at 96th Street. At crosswalks, slow down, yield to pedestrians, and then proceed cautiously. Obey all traffic laws, such as traffic signals, stop signs, and the 20 mph speed limit.

In addition, dogs are allowed in most sections of the park whenever it is open to the public. But all dogs must be on-leash, for there are so many children and pedestrians running in the park. It’s dangerous to keep the dog off-leash. 

Finally, barbecuing is allowed only on these days, but not the entire holiday weekend: Memorial Day, Labor Day, and 4th of July (whatever day of the week it falls on).
