You want to have fun and adventure and so you decide to travel somewhere to do it. Sounds like a simple enough thing. And basically it is. But what is adventure? That is the key here and the answer can be different for different people.
For those who love sports, adventure travel can have a whole different meaning than for those who like history. The physical travel types that you can find include such adventure travel as white water rafting (白浪漂流), kayaking or climbing and hiking to some mountains somewhere. To the hiker, backpacking across Ireland might be their adventure. For this type of person, adventure travel almost always includes something physical. Often the goal is to push their body’s limits and test their individual endurance (耐力).
For those who less want to climb mountains, adventure travel might mean traveling to Nepal and taking in the local festivals. Wine tasting in Italy is also vacation adventure for the more relaxed traveler who enjoys peace and comfort. Anything that is opposite to the normal scope (范围) of the traveler’s lifestyle defines (定义) adventure.
Adventure travel is not necessarily a one-size-fits-all type of vacation. Adventure depends on the person’s physical limits, how much money the person has and what the person enjoys doing. Going beyond the normal is adventurous for many. If your life is quite busy, then sitting on a beach in the moonlight with your family might be adventure for you. The point is not what you do but that you have a good time and that it is an adventure for YOU — not for the person next to you.
Do not sit home this year when vacation time rolls around. Go beyond your normal routine and try something new. If you usually spend your vacation sunbathing on a beach, try hiking, instead, through the mountains. Look around you, think beyond your comfort zone and head out on an adventure vacation.

Almost one in five children said they had seen something on their devices(设备)that had upset them, twice the number parents had thought.
A separate study found that just over 20% of parents do not have to monitor what their children are doing online. While 90% of the parents surveyed by the BBC in England said they had spoken to their children about staying safe online when using a smartphone, most said they allowed their children to use them freely. The survey also found that teenagers aged 13-16 were easier to be hurt online than those aged 8-12. However, parents worried less about the older group using a smartphone.
David Emm, senior security researcher at Kaspersky Lab said parents were not often aware of the dangers of using the internet on smartphones. When children use mobile devices to go on line, they are using the same internet, with the same risks. There is a common misunderstanding that smartphones don't need that protection. But with such a high percentage of parents not having a clear view of their children's online activity, this way of thinking needs to change.
Apple's iPhone and iPad have restrictions(约束), or parental controls, that can be set using a password. Access to certain websites can be blocked completely or restricted to age proper content. Restricted accounts can also be set up on Android smartphones.
Only 40% of parents who took part in the BBC vote said they had set up parental controls and filters(过滤器) on their children's smartphones.
Kapersky Lab's own survey showed that 18% of parents had lost money or data from their own phone because their children had been using it unmonitored.
Apple was recently told to pay $32.5m to parents whose children had made purchases without their parents' permission. The software giant recommended that users set PINs for their mobile phones and strong passwords for online accounts.
